Tochi - Salted Egg Yolk Popcorn - Asian Owned
I'm Dina Shi, a Chinese-born American who grew up in bustling NYC, the epic melting pot of cultures. From a young age, I've always loved Asian cuisines; my childhood was filled with memories of fragrant aromas of my Mom's delicious northern Chinese cooking.
So, I left the corporate world to start Tochi with my co-founders Ian & Marc, with a mission to share the unique flavors of our Asian heritage through natural and delicious snacks :) We first launched in 2019 with only the Singapore salted egg flavor line, and are now expanding with a variety of new flavors later this year. Our mission is to elevate the existing narrative around Asian cuisine, and proudly represent our culture in the rapidly-growing natural snacks category!
Sanzo - Sparkling Water, Calamanzi, Lychee, and Mango - Asian Owned
Founder Sandro Roco, a Queens-born Filipino American, was walking through a popular Asian supermarket in Manhattan’s Koreatown. There, he noticed a huge gap between the modern, clean labels of the new-age “American” brands and the preservative- and sugar-laden labels of the legacy Asian brands. His goal was simple: celebrate high quality Asian flavors that for decades have been masked by added sugars.
Our goal was to create a beverage that represented this bridging of cultures, East and West. The 1st Asian-inspired sparkling water, Sanzo celebrates high quality Asian flavors using real fruit and no added sugars.

Brooklyn Delhi - Tomato Achaar - S. Asian Woman Owned
In 2009 I began to document my family’s recipes while living in Brooklyn on a blog called the ABCDs of Cooking, which later turned into my cookbook, Vibrant India: Fresh Vegetarian Recipes from Bangalore to Brooklyn. The project began with me learning traditional Indian recipes from my family members and led me to make them my own by incorporating local fruits and vegetables I received in my farm share and collaborating with local chefs. In 2014, I launched Brooklyn Delhi to share the recipes I was creating with a wider audience.
Today, my achaar is the only American-made variety sold widely in Western supermarkets including Whole Foods and my first flavor, Tomato Achaar, has reached over a million homes via Blue Apron meal kits.
NOODIE - Peanut Chili Ramen - Asian Woman Owned
I’m Isabel Khoo, founder of NOODIE. I started NOODIE while in the place everyone associates with instant ramen: college. In between early-morning classes and late-night study sessions, noodles in polystyrene cups were a convenient comfort-food staple in my diet … until I read up on the ingredients: harmful additives, artificial flavors and powders, processed carbohydrates, and who-knows-what.
Conceived as a way to elevate the classic instant ramen, a single pack of NOODIE is plant based and offers up to 16g of protein, contains no mystery powder and has nothing fried. Using the latest Japanese food technology, it’s ramen inspired by heritage, but made for today. Tradition that’s now turned into nutrition. From my table to yours, I hope you enjoy.
